Are you one of the people online making a living using safelists for your email marketing. I didn’t think so. Most people get very few sales from safelists.

The main problem with safelists is that most of them only have 200 to 500 members, and you email the same members the same offers over and over again.

Another problem with safelists advertising is that if you join all the safelists you can find so you can send you offers to more people, you are still only reaching the same people. Everyone who uses safelists uses this method so your now sending your offer to the same people, 10, 20 even 100 times a day depending on how many lists you belong to.

There are services online that will sign you up to all these different safelists and send your ads for you. The issue with this is they sign everyone up to the same lists so again your emailing the same people over and over again. But the service is happy, because they charge you monthly to send out useless advertising to people.

While all the free safelists online are pretty much not worth your time or effort. There are paid safelist programs that still work rather well. These programs charge everyone who uses them. And when people pay for something they take it seriously.

Now you need to find just a couple of safelists that don’t charge you an arm and a leg. First stay away from safelists that have a free membership and paid memberships. They are a waste of time. Also don’t pay over $15. Some programs try to charge $100 to $200 to join. Its not worth it.

If possible, sign up for lists that will also allow you to put your banners and contextual ads on there pages. It is a good way to get even more from the email program.

Another point to remember about advertising online is that no one advertising program is going to make you succeed online. Use the safelist advertising but also use all other forms of advertising you can find. The more different types of advertising you use, the better the chances for your success.
